Are you interested in adopting a Woods Humane Society animal? Our shelters are open to the public every day from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. We process adoptions on a first-come, first-served basis from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Prior to coming in, please feel free to visit the available animals pages above to see our adoptable dogs and cats. If you find a dog or cat you are interested in meeting and adopting, complete the cat adoption questionnaire or dog adoption questionnaire. We also have kiosks available at the shelter so you can easily view every available animal we have at both of our campuses.
When you come in, please stop by the front desk to check in with our Adoption Specialists.
- To meet our cats, feel free to walk through our cattery.
- If you are interested in meeting our dogs, an Adoption Specialist will facilitate your dog meet-and-greet. These guided introductions help to minimize the stress of our animals and ensure you meet the right pup for you!
- Our Adoption Specialists will spend one-on-one time with you and the dog you are interested in. We will go over the dog’s history, behavior, and any medical information to help you determine if this is the right animal for you and your family.

Fees
- Puppies under 5 months of age - $200
- Dogs betweeen 5 months and 7 years - $150
- Dogs over 7 years of age - $100
- Kittens under 5 months of age - $150
- Cats between 5 months and 7 years - $80
- Cats over 7 years of age - $65
Requirements:
All interested adopters must:
- Be 18 years of age or older to adopt
- Have a legal photo ID available at the time of adoption (Driver’s License, State or Military Id, Passport)
- Have a physical address as primary residence
- Complete an online Adoption Application
- Introduce all children in the home under 18 years of age to adult dogs before adoption
- Introduce all dogs in the primary residency to Woods adult dogs before adoption
