Thank you for your interest in aligning your fundraising efforts with Woods Humane Society! We appreciate your generosity and desire to support the important work that we do at Woods.
Individuals, partnerships, corporations, service groups, clubs, organizations, or any type of entity wishing to raise money on behalf of the animals of Woods Humane Society will be referred to as Third Party Fundraisers. Third Party Fundraising can be initiated by an individual or business for the benefit of Woods.
Our dedicated staff work hard to participate in many community events and fundraisers year-round. Because we have limited time and resources, and plan our promotional calendars well in advance, we require 3 months advance notice, an expected donation of $1000 or more, and an approved marketing graphic publicizing your event in order for Woods to assist with publicizing a fundraiser event on our email and social media channels. If your event does not fit these requirements, you are still welcome to raise funds for Woods! Please review the Guideline document provided below and complete and submit the Third Party Fundraising Proposal form below. A member of our team will contact you to review your proposal and finalize your event.
We are so grateful to receive interest in hosting adoption events. However, please note that Woods is not able to do offsite adoptions. We have two, fully-staffed and fully-operational shelters open 7 days per week that allow us to conduct adoptions and provide full adoption counseling in a safe, reliable setting with steady foot traffic. We are fortunate to maintain short lengths of stay for our pets by providing the public with daily access to adoptable pets in these central and well-known shelter locations, and we are not able to take staff and animals away from the shelter to conduct adoptions off-site. We appreciate your interest and look forward to working with you to design a mutually agreeable event that benefits the adoptable animals at Woods!
