Make a Donation in Honor or Memory of a Loved One
At Woods Humane Society, you can make a donation in honor of or in memory of a loved one by making a tribute donation. A tribute donation is an incredibly meaningful gift that pays homage to one friend while helping a furry friend in need at Woods. This is a great option for those wishing to give a meaningful birthday, holiday, wedding or anniversary gift, or a touching tribute gift for a memorial ceremony.
Here's how it works:
- Make a donation through the orange Donate button at the top-right of our website.
- Click where it says "Dedicate My Donation."
- After you complete your online donation, you will have the option for an e-card, letter, or to print the card at home. Select the option you'd like and add any personalized message you'd like (optional).
- If you selected a letter, we will send an acknowledgment card by mail, notifying the family of your honorary or memorial donation.
- You will also receive a personalized acknowledgment letter or email noting the tribute gift for your tax records.
