In honor of National Pet Vaccination Month, Woods will be hosting an appointment-based Pet Vaccine Clinic for publicly owned pets at our North County campus on Saturday, March 18th, from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. As a partnering shelter in Petco Love’s nationwide initiative to provide another one million free pet vaccines for family pets in need, we will offer a limited amount of free FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) vaccines to scheduled cats and free DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvo) vaccines to scheduled dogs. These vaccines prevent the most prevalent deadly diseases affecting pets! Other vaccines and services will be offered at low cost.
Space is limited. Reserve your spot today by booking a Wellness Appointment on March 18th. For more information, please visit www.SpaySLOCounty.com or call 805-464-5034.
Calling all crafty, caring, pet-loving kids! Woods is excited to offer Care Crew at both our San Luis Obispo and Atascadero locations. Crew members will have the opportunity to join us in filling kongs for our canines to enjoy in their kennels, crafting homemade pet toys, and reading to our feline friends. We will also focus on learning about animal body language, responsible pet ownership, and the wide range of animal-focused careers. A suggested donation of $5 allows us to continue growing our youth programs and changing the lives of dogs and cats in our community. This will be an ongoing program, but space is limited so sign up below!
Are you a teen who’s passionate about photography, journalism, or art? Do you spend your free time watching animal TikToks or funny cat videos? We are looking for caring, creative teens to join us in writing bios and taking photos of our adoptable animals. We will also work as a team to create adorable animal welfare TikToks and Instagram reels. Pet Press will be held at both our San Luis Obispo and Atascadero locations on alternating Sundays at 3pm. A suggested donation of $5 allows us to continue growing our youth programs and changing the lives of dogs and cats in our community. This will be an ongoing program, but space is limited so sign up below!
