Are you a teen who’s passionate about photography, journalism, or art? Do you spend your free time watching animal TikToks or funny cat videos? We are looking for caring, creative teens to join us in writing bios and taking photos and videos of our adoptable animals. Pet Press will be held at our Atascadero location on the last Tuesday of every month at 3:30-4:30. This will be an ongoing program, but space is limited so sign up below!

Bookworms, assemble! Woods is welcoming animal lovers age 7-17 to join us in reading to our furry friends. Shelter life can be stressful, and reading is proven to relax and comfort companion animals. Book Buddies will be held at our Atascadero location on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 and at our San Luis Obispo location on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30. This will be an ongoing program, but space is limited so sign up below!
