We're having a "Jump" Party!
Woods Humane Society will be hosting another Jump Party for those dogs who need a little help keeping “four on the floor.”
Saturday, May 28th at 1PM, we’ll be working with six over-zealous dogs, instructing their owners how to teach them not to jump. Along with our certified trainers, all the dog owners in class will be helping to teach each other’s dogs that jumping up on people is a crime that does not pay!
(Dog must be social with dogs and people to be appropriate for this class)
This is a five-week course that is designed to present different challenges for your pup. There will be jumps, tunnels, new surfaces and other obstacles to explore and conquer. The experience is designed to help build the dog’s confidence while having fun with you!
The fee is $125 for each 5 week session.

Sunday, February 27th at 11:00AM we’ll be working with six over-zealous dogs, instructing their owners how to teach them not to jump. Along with our certified trainers, all the dog owners in class will be helping to teach each other’s dogs that jumping up on people is a crime that does not pay!

Note: Dogs do not attend the first class.
The fee is $275 for each 6 week session.
Every dog is not right for the dog park, but walking your dog around the neighborhood or at the beach should be fun, not embarrassing or dangerous. This class is limited to 4 dogs in each session.

All dogs must be pre-qualified before entering the Feisty Fido class - online registration is not available. Dogs adopted from Woods Humane Society receive a discount. Call (805) 543-9316 x 24 to speak with our trainer to find out if this class is right for your dog.

For the "teenage" puppy 6 months to 1 year old
(Puppies must be social in the presence of other dogs)
This is a basic manners class for the evolving pup, with emphasis on sociability and impulse control.
The class is designed to help you learn how to survive the next phase in your young dog’s life. Still a puppy, the “effervescent adolescent” will never stop exploring, and pushing the boundaries. We’re here to help!
