In February, Woods Humane Society and its supporters continued to make a powerful difference for animals and the people who love them.
Together, we helped 199 animals find loving homes while maintaining a strong 97% live release rate. Our teams completed 474 spay and neuter surgeries, provided 586 vaccinations and 102 microchips, and supported 57 animals in foster care.
Beyond the shelters, we strengthened our community by sharing more than 2,378 pounds of Pet Pantry supplies, delivering 223 subsidized medical services, engaging 412 youth through Humane Education, training 35 owned dogs and contributing 1,126 volunteer hours.
These efforts reflect the compassion, expertise, and teamwork that drive Woods Humane Society and the lifesaving work we accomplish together. To our supporters, volunteers, fosters, and staff, thank you for the difference you make for the animals and community we serve!
