"Belle is my beautiful Lynx-Point Siamese cat who I, a seventh grader who loves to donate to the animals taking sanctuary at Woods, adopted 2 years ago. Belle enjoys exploring my front yard, loves to bite me, play with our dog, hunt lizards, and lay with me while I do my homework. She is adventurous, skilled, smart, and graceful. She is an escape artist—she can open sliding doors, windows, and is learning how to use door handles as I write this. If we cannot find her, she will either be in cupboards, rolling around in clean clothes baskets, or have found a way to get herself locked in our laundry room. When we are walking up the stairs, she loves to lay there and rub her nose against our nose as we pass. I am the only one who can pet her belly which makes our bond even more special.
