"Sometimes the universe works in beautiful and mysterious ways. We saw a fetching photo of Sammy posted online by a rescue society in SoCal. After his foster mom shared that Sammy was addicted to sleeping next to her on the couch, we knew we had to go meet this special dog.
We headed south to Fontana for confirmation, and we knew right away that he was the one! The bond was instantaneous. We quickly learned that he also is addicted to having his tummy rubbed. His official adoption was celebrated with a portrait being painted by a dear friend.
Sammy is adored by friends, family and strangers charmed by his sweetness and acumen. His communication skills are astonishing. At a recent vet appointment, Ivan, our vet tech, gave Sammy a treat after his two injections; Sammy expressed his displeasure with the shots by spitting out the treat! He is a dog with pizazz and character – Sammy’s trademark: a stylish Mohawk courtesy of his gifted groomer.
Sammy is such a special dog and we couldn’t imagine our lives without him!"
