Our April Calendar Pet, and the WINNER of our Pets of the Year Calendar Contest, sponsored by PetMed Urgent Care, is Panther!
His owner writes:
"My best friend, Panther, who passed away in September 2022 at 12 years old, meant the world to me. Panther came to us at ten-and-a-half years old after being given to us by a relative. He was a communicator. He would chatter his teeth when he needed to go outside, and, when asked if he wanted to go for a walk, would give a toothy grin and would leap with all four legs off the ground. He loved to nuzzle first thing in the morning. I enjoyed sitting on the floor for hours with him, enjoying his pawing for attention. We loved the walks, and all our neighbors, and their dogs, loved him, and I have continued those friendships since his passing. Panther changed my life when I was grieving the loss of my partner of forty years. He opened the world of my neighborhood to me in a wonderful way. Panther was given the attention and love he deserved in the late years of his life and he was my best friend."
