Our September winner for the 2024 Pets of the Year Calendar Contest, sponsored by PetMed Urgent Care, is a Woods alumnus who was named after his parent’s favorite football team- the Rams. "Ramsey was a godsend from Woods Humane Society SLO. Previously known as Boomer, we found Ramsey when he was Woods' Pet of the Week. It was love at first sight! So scared from whatever he endured in his past, we knew we had to rescue him. With lots of patience and love, Ramsey learned he was safe at home with us.
He is so affectionate and playful, loves his walks and playing catch, very smart, great at communicating... I swear he talks! Loves to wrestle but is also content just sitting in your lap. Our football team is the Rams so that's why his name is Ramsey. He fits it well... a champion and a winner at heart! He even watches the games with us.
When you look into his beautiful eyes, you see his gentle unconditionally loving soul. A memorable experience adopting Ramsey, he adopted us as well, capturing our hearts and loved by all who meet him. Go Rams!"
