Is your pet lost? Here are the steps you need to take to increase the chance of reuniting with your missing animal:
1. Contact San Luis Obispo County Animal Services by clicking HERE or calling the shelter at 805.781.4400
2. Woods partners with Petco Love Lost to make reuniting lost pets easier using image recognition technology to search a national lost and found database.

Visit Petco Love Lost and upload a picture of your lost pet to search a national lost pet database. You can also sign up to receive alerts about your pet and use their resources to create a digital lost pet flyer to post on local social media pages (Facebook, Nextdoor), and to distribute to email contacts (think friends, family, neighborhood listservs).
3. Put your information on social media (Facebook) at Lost Pets of SLO County, Lost and Found Pets North SLO County, you can find additional lost & found groups on social media as well.
4. Sign up for the Nextdoor app and utilize it to list your pet as lost in your local community.
5. When your pet is found, make sure to have them microchipped! Woods Humane Society provides microchip services every day! Information is available HERE.
