Hotel SLO & Executive Chef Ryan Fancher to Host Ultimate Pink Party on April 13, 2025
Hotel San Luis Obispo and Executive Chef Ryan Fancher invite the public to “Rosé all day” at the 4th Annual Rosé the SLO Way (RTSW) event at the Hotel San Luis Obispo Garden Courtyard on April 13, 2025.
The highly anticipated “ultimate pink party” is a celebration of the release of the latest vintage of Central Coast Rosé wines and a fundraiser for Woods Humane Society and Cal Poly’s Uncork Potential Hospitality and Enology Scholarships.
Welcoming more than 300 guests, RTSW offers Rosé tasting from more than 30 premier wineries, paired with delectable creations from Executive Chef Ryan Fancher and his team at Ox + Anchor and Piadina. Guests of the event can also enjoy signature bites from acclaimed guest chefs Dustin Valette of Sonoma Wine Country; San Luis Obispo’s own Brian Collins; as well as from all-stars Morro Bay Oyster Co., Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, and Sichuan Kitchen SLO. Sweet treats from local favorites Breda and Harmony Valley Creamery will round out the palate for this gourmet event.
Supported by premier sponsors The San Luis Obispo Collection, Mercedes-Benz San Luis Obispo, and Piazza Hospitality, the event also features live DJs spinning danceable daytime tunes, Emcee Extraordinaire Adam Monteil, a wine-pull, a drawing for exciting prizes, a best-dressed contest, and a mini fashion marketplace that includes retailers Avanti, Summerland, Infinity Metals SLO, Tails Pet Boutique, and Blinged Out Locks. Woods Humane Society will also host the popular Woods Cuddle Corner, brimming with adorable, adoptable puppies and kittens.
“Rosé the SLO Way is proud to support Woods Humane Society through this year’s event,” says Rosé the SLO Way representative Rebekah Fancher. “Not only do they find loving homes for thousands of local pets each year, they also play a crucial role in responding to emergency situations such as the recent wildfires in LA and on Maui. Every year, Woods transports more than 1,500 animals from partner shelters that are filled beyond capacity, saving lives and giving innocent dogs and cats the second chance they deserve on the beautiful Central Coast. That’s something we can all toast to!”
Woods Humane Society CEO Emily L’Heureux says Rosé the SLO Way is an important event for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter. “Celebrating its 70th year of saving dogs and cats this year, Woods Humane Society could not continue to perform up to 3,000 adoptions and more than 5,000 spay/neuter surgeries each year without the help of popular community events like this that raise crucial community awareness about adoption and provide much-needed funds for animals awaiting shelter.”
Rosé the SLO Way will take place at Hotel San Luis Obispo, located at 877 Palm St. in San Luis Obispo, CA, on Sunday, April 13th from 1-4 p.m. Pre-Release Pricing ($120 per person) ends March 14th. Regular ticket pricing is $150 per person. Ticket sales and more event information, including participating wineries and business, are available at https://rosethesloway.com/.
