Participating Wine Country Businesses will Donate 10% of Proceeds to Woods Humane Society
Wine 4 Paws, the weekend of wine country fundraising for homeless pets at Woods Humane Society, announces its 2026 tasting map featuring more than 75 local participating wineries, olive oil companies, restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, hotels & tour companies, and other participating businesses. All Wine 4 Paws participants will be donating 10% of proceeds from the weekend to Woods Humane Society, and many will offer special events beginning April 24 and extending through Wine 4 Paws weekend on April 25 and 26, 2026.
“Each year, our wine country businesses show up to support Wine 4 Paws in such fun and creative ways,” says Wine 4 Paws organizer Sarah Tomasetti. “From wine tasting, dining, live music, auctions, and special classes for humans to bacon tasting, special treats, pet portraits & fashion shows, and pup cups for dogs, local wine enthusiasts and pet-lovers have so many incredible ways to support the animals at Woods Humane Society this year! It’s a win-win-win for you, your pets, and the pets at Woods.”
The Wine 4 Paws fundraiser comes at a crucial time for Woods Humane Society, which is already responding to an early baby season on the Central Coast with a record-breaking 80 puppies adopted in March and more than 100 kittens and puppies already in foster care. CEO Emily L’Heureux says, “There really isn’t a better, feel-good weekend than Wine 4 Paws weekend, giving locals the chance to enjoy wine and so many fun events while directly supporting essential, hands-on care for vulnerable puppies and kittens.”
This year’s Wine 4 Paws tasting trails include participating locations off the 46 West & 46 East; in and around Tin City; Downtown Paso Robles; the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail; Creston; Vineyard Road & Peachy Canyon Drive; Nacimiento Lake Drive; San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley; as well as Cambria, Morro Bay, Atascadero, and Santa Margarita. Wine tasting reservations are recommended at many locations. Learn more and download the free map, here.

About Wine 4 Paws
Wine 4 Paws began in 2009 with the ingenious idea of blending a weekend of Central Coast wine tasting with helping homeless pets. Since its inception, it has partnered with hundreds of Central Coast wineries, breweries, olive oil producers, restaurants and other businesses to raise more than $700,000 for Woods Humane Society. The event now features more than 75 participating businesses offering wine tasting, wine sales, special events, and more, for one weekend each spring. A portion of all proceeds from the weekend are donated to Woods Humane Society to help the nonprofit care for and find loving homes for up to 3,000 dogs and cats per year.
