Woods Humane Society offers fun, interactive and educational animal welfare lessons and activities for every grade level and for all schools in SLO County! There is a suggested donation of $25 for school visits, or an in-kind donation (please see our wishlist, here).
Each lesson includes a humane themed topic, hands-on activities, language arts or math components, and possible extension activities!
*Note: Due to potential animal stress and safety concerns, we will not be bringing an animal to educational visits at this time.

Book our Humane Educator for a guest speaking engagement, presentation, or Q&A at your event. We can bring an adoptable canine ambassador to most events.
Presentations can cover responsible pet care, the importance of spaying and neutering, bite prevention, and more. We are happy to customize an interactive presentation to meet the needs of your group.
