Our January 2024 Pets of the Year Calendar winners are best friends Chloe and Gabriel. Their owner shares: “Chloe came to me as a rescued special needs puppy in March of '21. She had apparently been hit by a car while living on the street with her mom and needed immediate surgery and lots of rehab and physical therapy. She adored my cat, Jordan, who I adopted from HART in Cambria in 2012 (and he loves her too), but he was nearly 10, so as she grew stronger and more playful, he couldn't quite keep up. I thought a young cat would be just what the family needed, so on Halloween '22 I visited Woods Humane in Atascadero and adopted Gabriel. And I was right. He was just what the family needed!”
